Protect Your Toolbars by Rick Ellis

New to AutoCAD 2005 is the TBCUSTOMIZE system variable.  When set to 0 (or OFF) the commands to customize toolbars and keyboard shortcut will be disabled.  So you will not be able to edit your toolbars.  This does not include the toolbar location, which many users have asked for since toolbars were first introduced.  It only prevents someone from editing the buttons on the toolbar.  While this may not be the complete toolbar locking that users have wished for, it can be a valuable setting to keep the standard toolbars in your office from accidentally being changed.

TBCUSTOMIZE set to 1 – toolbars and keyboard shortcuts can be customized.
TBCUSTOMIZE set to 0 - toolbars and keyboard shortcuts can not be customized.
