Meet the Authors
Rick Ellis, president of Cadapult Software Solutions, Inc, provides training and consulting services to clients around the country helping them get the most out of their design software investment.
Rick specializes in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map 3D, AutoCAD Land Desktop, and AutoCAD Raster Design.
He is a member of the Autodesk Developer Network. He is the author of several books including “Digging Into AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010”, “Digging Deeper Into AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008”, “Digging Into Autodesk Land Desktop 2006” and “Digging Into AutoCAD Map 3D 2010”, co-author of “Introducing Autodesk Civil 3D”, a select author for CAD Digest, and an instructor for the AUGI training program.
Scott Wolter has been in the civil engineering and surveying community since 1992. His professional experience has involved CAD management, staff training and development, civil design, production drafting, field surveying, and construction observation for projects ranging from deep foundation excavation to civil site grading. Scott is also a Certified Instructor for the Wisconsin Technical College System and an adjunct instructor for Fox Valley Technical College.
He is a member of the Autodesk Developer Network and the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors. In 2004, Scott co-authored the first book on Civil 3D, “Introducing Autodesk Civil 3D”.
