More About The Book
Learn to leverage the power of AutoCAD Map 3D 2011 with this book. Digging Into AutoCAD Map 3D 2011 is an introduction to the most useful features of this powerful software.
One of the biggest challenges for users migrating from 2009 or earlier releases of AutoCAD Map 3D is learning the completely redesigned interface featuring the ribbon. To be productive in this version you will need to be able to find familiar commands, as well learn new ones. This book features rewritten exercises, with all new screen captures to guide you through the new ribbon interface and build the comfort level needed to be productive in Map 3D.
This book is suitable for anyone from general AutoCAD users to seasoned professionals in the Civil Engineering, Surveying, Mapping, Planning, Land Development or GIS industries.
Since AutoCAD Map 3D is part of Civil 3D, this book is a valuable resource to any Civil 3D user as well as users of stand-alone AutoCAD Map 3D. Anyone using Civil 3D can benefit from these powerful, yet often overlooked tools already installed on their computer.
This book has 356 pages, organized into 14 chapters.
