CADapult Software Solutions will be involved in several events around the US that you will want to check out if they are in your area.

Autodesk University

This last November was my 12th consecutive year teaching at AU and I was honored to win another speaker award this year.  This time the award was for Best Panel.  My class Drawing from Experience: 4 CAD Managers with More Than 100 Years of Combined Experience Tell All.  I want to send out a special thank you to Robert Green, RK McSwain, Curt Moreno, and Kate Morrical for being on the panel.  They were truly the stars of the class.  Also thank you to Sam Lucido for helping to monitor the questions online and to Adam Menter for his incredible whiteboarding skills documenting the class.  If you didn’t get the chance to attend you can watch a recording of the class at AU online.

My lab A Practical Guide to GIS in Civil 3D also received honorable mention in the Best Hands-on Lab category.  If you are interested in this topic you can get a copy of the book this class was based on for yourself.

You can see the complete list of award winning classes at the AU blog.  Congratulations to everyone on the list. These awards are based on surveys of attendees and it is quite an honor to be recognized out of the roughly 800 classes at the conference.  I’m looking forward to speaking at AU again this year and hope to see you there.

LSAW – March 7-10, 2018

This year the LSAW (Land Surveyors’ Association of Washington) is having their annual conference in Spokane and they have asked me to teach a full day of classes relating to Civil 3D for Surveyors.  I taught a similar class for them last year in Seattle and am looking forward to bringing it to the east side of the state.

Midwest University – March 21-22, 2018

I have been invited to teach two classes at Midwest University this year.  This will be my first time at this conference but it has built a great reputation and I am excited to be a part of it.  They have put together a great lineup of speakers for this two day event.  You can find all the details at their website.

Carlson ‘Go West’ Conference – April 9-11, 2018

I will be teaching three classes at Carlson Software’s annual conference this year.  They alternate locations between the west coast and Maysville, KY each year and this year I am looking forward to a few days in sunny San Diego for the conference.  They are also giving away a copy of my book, A Practical Guide to Carlson Software Fundamentals 2018, to early registrants.

DFWBIUG CAD Training Day – April 24, 2018

If you are anywhere near the Dallas area this is a must see event.  I just got word that they have scheduled this event for April 24.  It always has a great list of speakers and I hope to be part of it again this year. The event will have classes on topics ranging from Civil 3D, to Infraworks, AutoCAD, Vehicle Tracking, BIM 360 Glue and more.  You can check out their website for all the details.

Training Options

While the list above may look like a long list of events, it is only a small part of the classes I teach throughout the year.  So if you are not near one of these events or if you would just prefer a private on-site class for your organization contact us or call me. 503-829-8929  I’d be happy to discuss your options for a class that is targeted to the specific needs of your group.  I am confident you will see a significant return on your investment from the training program that we put together for you.
